The Guyver *Completed*

I am always impressed by the incredible amount of talent on this forum.

I watched and read Guyver when I was younger, saw the full re-do while in Japan, and the second movie (Dark Hero) is still one of my favorites.

Fantastic work - keep it up! I can't wait to see what you come up with, next.

Has anyone done the Guyver MkII armor, with the damaged control metal? That would be AWESOME!!

Re: Guyver *WIP*

I'm using a hot knife and 3 of the heads that came with it. $8.99 at Harbor Freight. Gives the foam a little bit of character. :)

I have decided that I am going to do this for my Bishamon armor.
The results you got are so organic, and that it would really add another dimension to my character.

Awesome... I will be watching it when you start. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Yeah..... That gave me a little bit of drive behind this build. I felt horrible after his constructive criticism but JF talked me through it. Now I just build what I want and nod when someone says something. :D

Hey dude how was your Heroes of Cosplay experience? Did they tried to get you in the show after that episode?

Noper.... The Heroes thing was unexpected. The way they pitched it to the convention was that it was supposed to be about cosplay, not competition. The focus was on the best in shows. I don't think anyone like me actually meets their status. I don't have the right "assets" to draw the viewers.

And I still need a Spidey suit... I geek out every time I see yours.

That wasn't constructive at all =P but I'm glad it gave you some drive. Great work bud.

I know it's polyethylene tubing.... but I don't know the name of it. It is used to cover copper piping that I bought at a hardware store.

This thread was so full of win. What an incredible job you did on your suit!

It is threads like this that take up so much of my time that I will never get started on any kind of project of my own. I am just living vicariously through awesome builds like yours.

Thanks so much for sharing and please keep building, I need more.. To quote Bill Murray from What About Bob..."I need, I need, I need!" :D
