Unlimited Run Star Trek: Picard, Away Jackets, Now Taking Orders!

Very much so. I’ve always been an advocate of making “costumes” so that they appear in the real world the way they look onscreen to the viewer (as opposed to some of the color tricks they have to use on set to get the result the viewer sees.)
"Screen" vs "set" is hard to determine without an actual piece. I'm all for set colors

This is getting so exciting

That is a good color when well lit. Keeping in mind on the show, the color temp is very blue and dark. They color appears dark cherry and almost black. I would suggest you couldn't go to dark with these jackets. They're painted leather and not really meant to be of "uniform" brightness.

It's always hard to match "screen color" because everyone's TV or monitor has different color characteristics. Looks good to me. The blue is what I'm interested in. It's very deep blue.
even in person with museum lighting these are dark dark

in person they are dark dark colors unless brightly lit which they're not on screen. they look almost black on screen d/t the DP and PD's look of the series. You can't really go too dark with these. Think of them more as "stealth" colors

Hey all,
In my opinion this Pantone 195U is great match, what do you think?

They should be darker. Even in person under studio lighting and with

flash the colors barely show. and with the dim and blue lighting theme for the show they are nearly black. Can't really go too dark with these. They're almost "stealth" But being too colorful would lessen the reality of how they are.
