Wow ok the lack of color must have made it too apparent

I disagree that the colored and black perforated panels are on the same plane.

I think the colored panels are on top, but the thin and flexible nature of the black delta leather makes it curl up a bit to the same plane. But to me it looks like it's like that on the chest, but not on the sleeves. On the sleeves to me it looks like they are sewn up to each other, not one overlapping the other.

As for the stitching, I don't think it is stitched, but there is a definite crease of some kind creating an edge. My guess is that it's from being ironed/pressed over a small lip of fabric inside.

Front and back are near mirror images. Build the back like the front panels are.

I scoured the internet trying to find a way to get one of these jackets, found this post and made an account just to get in on this. I hope it's ok for a clueless newcomer to get involved, but I would love to order one of these when available.
