Spirit Halloween Jurassic Park Goggles

Even limited to just imagery, the Paragon product appears notably superior...

I couldn't be more comfortable with my purchase.

And it completes my Paragon JP collection!

Look at that nerd and his nerdy Jurassic Park stuff....

My local store opened, just had hardhats so far, they are pretty nice and thick.

Same. Plus several of each of the costumes.

Design, though, is significantly off...

Costume - not replica...

LOL I should know - I have three I've been working on trying to get right! :p
Yeah, I passed on them for that reason. Had they at least been closer to a red-orange like the movie versions I probably would have bought them. These are vibrantly safety orange. They remind me of my Dad's old work helmet.

Out of curiosity, how is the quality of the Ghostbuster's items ($180 trap, $250 pack, etc.), as per our local GB aficionados?
Their trap was used in Afterlife for Egon’s yard traps so very accurate for those, but otherwise mostly a good toy.

Their pack is also a decent toy, but a bit undersized and soft on details. Hasbros new 84 pack is much closer for a consumer product. I did see the packs in store, both their first basic one and the deluxe one.

Figured I'd just ask this here, received my Paragon NV Goggles today, very cool and yes heavy lol I'm looking for display options and thought maybe the case in the Explorer might be a good idea if I could find one or something similar?

Wow the Paragon ones arent fully functional? Geeze, I assumed it was at that price. Then yeah Spirit wins big for that.

Agreed, if anything at least the shaft could be usable with a replacement amber piece. It does say its metal with polyresin, so it should be strong. Probably has a metal rod throughout. Given how detailed the mosquito looks, im gonna guess its a 2d print on some clear plastic.

Picked up the cane yesterday - I actually really like it. It's very strong! The amber is oversized and it's taller than my officially licensed version, but otherwise pretty impressed!

(And, yes, the mosquito is 2D)

Can the logo be easily removed?

The big grey one that had the works in it...?

Not cheap, nor terribly easy to find - but not impossible.

That said, I don't recall the make and model off hand, but there certainly is info out there on the net.

For now, I'm using the decorated box as a stand for mine...

Somewhat. It’s not as easy as a sticker, but I was able to scratch it off with my fingernail with a little bit of effort.

In store, or on-line?

In store. I wasn’t actually going to get it (because i have two already - at very different ends of the spectrum quality-wise), but I was looking at the Nedry raincoat and they had them on the shelf. I picked one up to take a look and was surprised by how heavy and sturdy it was! I’m glad I did!

I have two as well - Paragon, and an older version I received from a seller in Germany over 20 years ago.

AND...

I want this one!

Correct to presume the "amber" is also geometrically perfect?

Do you think it could support your weight on regular basis? As in, using it as a real walking cane?
