Interest Spates Catalog by Magnoli Props

If you're going to send art with the articles, please do it all at the same time. For illustrations, they need to be black-on-white (some grey tone is fine, but make sure the black is really black and the white is really white, though I will probably check anyway and fix if needed). Photos can be sent as-is (preferably at least 2MP, but I can always upscale if necessary) since they all need to be formatted using the same filters for consistency.

We're up to about 60 pages at the moment. Layout is a bit more tricky than Tobin's, so it's taking a bit of time. The end result is much more kitsch than Tobin's too, which is pretty cool and really makes each article it's own little work of art. But time consuming.

This might make an interesting article. If I’ve the time, I might try to tackle it, but if someone else wants to jump on it, be my guest (assuming Indy approves of its inclusion and I didn’t miss it in Tobin’s):

An occult doomsday cult in 1690s Philly

Definitely a worthy entry! I wonder if this would be worth saving for Roylance... since I doubt we'll have as many topics to put in that one.

Interested!
I may be able to contribute.

Something I just picked up, was Peter Ackroyds book on ghosts, saunces, and the history of Dan Ackroyds Grandfather. It gives details about a lot of mediums from the past, in its beginning. Not sure what is usable. There's a lot of interesting stuff in there. I can't be the only one who has read it? I'm half way through right now.
While this is a great book it is a very dry mostly academic read.

Someone on here suggested Herbert West - Reanimator. I’d suggest doing a spin off on one of the creatures that perhaps went its own way after the story ended. Maybe the soldier with the false wax head that carried his real head in a box, that’s creepy and an example of a creature that could still function in society.

Well, by my estimation, we're not even 1/3 done yet... so we still need tons of articles. I just added a nice big article on Immortals and Immortality which was a lot of fun. But there's still a lot to do. I think we need more ghost stories... more "Nameless Horrors" if you know what I mean. Keep the ideas flowing! :)

As for years, we're filling up pretty well... the teens and 20s are a bit light.

Some really good ideas there. I've scratched through the ones that we already have on the list, have been discussing, or already are included in Tobin's.

I have finished the Zuni Fetish Doll story. In the next couple days, I'll do some artwork. I'm looking forward to drawing the doll!! I'll send it all together as requested. It's a little longer than I intended, I may trim it down before I send it.

A few Haunted object ideas

Some good ideas there! I think the Mummy's curse is already tied into another article. ahuntley is working on an article about gems, so the Amethyst of Delhi should figure into that. We've got two cursed mirrors, so those could get melded into one article. I think I need to start organizing the ideas by categories and see how they're spreading out to make sure one section doesn't get too heavy compared to another.
