Absolutely! This is one I wanted to put in Tobin's, but the dates were too late.
I'll add it to the list, along with your articles on superstitions.
We've got this one in Tobin's already, so avoiding doubling up except where necessary.
Admittedly I haven’t read it cover to cover…but did a Quick Look through and didn’t spot it. But yeah…don’t double up.

Just looking through my blu-rays for some more inspiration for things not found in Tobin's (to my knowledge). I'm not going to do any of these, but if people are looking for some ideas, possibilities could include:
- The woods/witch/Black Philip/various occurrences in The Witch
- The beach from Old, since it would have existed since forever, so could have various pirates' and travelers' tales about it
- The house from Crimson Peak
- That ancient bug/mechanism from Cronos
- Tannis root from Rosemary's Baby, and/or the cult if it has a name
- Was there any Lovecraft stuff in the other book? Innsmouth? Pickman's Model? etc?
- Since it sounds like there will be passages up thru the 70s perhaps, someone could cover the pod people invasions of both the 50s and 70s from the two Body Snatchers movies
- A wild one, but possible if someone is in the mood - the oozy shapeshifter people from Society, as they predate humanity per the movie
- Sumatran rat monkey from Dead Alive
- Lo-Pan/the cult from Big Trouble in Little China
-Vulkenvania and its various weirdness, murders, and mutations from Dan Aykroyd's OTHER horror comedy, Nothing But Trouble
- Was Dr. Moreau's island done?

- Frank-N-Furter's Castle from Rocky Horror
- Something Wicked This Way Comes
- Lot of X-Files possibilities but people would needs to check the lore for the timeline and see if things match - Tooms, the family from Home, Flukeman, etc.

Oh, another fun possibility for someone. The Thing would fall outside the timeline, but not the novella "Who Goes There?" (1938) which is very similar in terms of plot. Someone could also kind of merge the versions, keeping the book characters and stuff while having some clear references to the events of the Carpenter movie - blood test, specific creatures, etc.

Lo-pan is covered in Tobin's already (a very fun entry!) as well as Chthulu, but no other Lovecraftian topics, so that's free game. The rest of your ideas TheotherJones are great, so anyone wanting to tackle on, let me know and I'll add it to the list.
