Smallville

You can get the original if you have enough money. It's a 27.5" x 11.8" watercolor that was painted by Rodolfo Migliari, so it wasn't the full wall painting as seen on the show.

I had seen that mentioned somewhere else. If I remember correctly, it was going for around $12,000.

While waiting for our Intertype machine to heat up I figured I'd draw this art also. I made it an EPS file done in Illustrator. It's always fun to keep your skills in check. I tried to make sure all the areas had the same basic shape shown. The ear is still slightly wrong. I skewed it to be more squared before I recreated it in Illustrator.

This is a JPG of the art.

Here is an EPS version of it.

Was anyone else bothered by the fact that the museum cases contained boxing gloves that said "Wildcat" but Wildcat in the painting doesn't have them???

Not really. Costumes change over the years. The painting was made before he added the gloves to his costume.

I figure Wildcat's gloves and Mr. Terrific's weight belt were for when they worked not when they fought crime.

I figured that was the case too, but then what place would they have in the JSA museum? Maybe I should stop taking this thread off-topic...

Anybody know how to get ahold of the "stones of knowledge" prop replicas. Replica Props no longer produces 2 of the 3 stones. And the 3rd was never produced at all. I have been searching for these for quite some time now. I hope there are even some fan made items out there. Thanks

I think you're in the wrong thread as those aren't made of paper. There is a map to them that is.

I haven't seen very many people attempt these though.

Has anyone ever made a Smallville Torch (The highschool paper)?

I'm also trying to find some Daily Planets with "Blur" headlines or any Smallville Daily Planets. Does anyone have?

I love that JSA painting, thanks teecrooz!! And nice work on the JSA logo, Dietrich.....it looks great!!! Thanks...

I Just started learning Photoshop and finished my first paper prop.

Here's the cover to Warrior Angel Issue #0 from the episode Warrior. First pic is the cover printed, wrapped around another comic and bagged. Second attachment is the full res Jpeg file for anyone who wants it. The black on the left is so you can wrap it around another comic and staple it together like I did if you'd like.

Made it using stills online and using perspective correction in Photoshop. Does anyone else have a better sharpening filter to make the title less blurry? The cover looks very aged (which works for it) when printed but it could be a little sharper. Whenever I try sharpening more in photoshop it just gets very pixelated. Hope you like it.

Dude, that is so awesome!

Just wondering if anyone has attempted or has anything from the "Book of Zatara" - the spellbook Zatanna gets Oliver to steal for her in the episode 'Hex'?

Anybody considered doing Pemberton's notebook from "Absolute Justice"?
Now that it is on DVD I got some screenshots.

This looks to be the Aquaman picture

I presume the next pages (previous pages maybe) would be of Impulse and Cyborg.
Blu Ray would probably have better quality shots.
I have some screen caps of the exterior of the journal also if anyone is interested.

Here's my next Smallville project.

I'm making three Daily Planets to hang next to the viral Gotham Times Newspapers from TDK so each will be the same dimensions and only the cover page. Here's the top half to the first one.

I'm having trouble figuring out what the table is on the top left of the page Lionel is holding. I can make out temperatures but thats it. Anyone have any idea what could be up there? I believe the same table is on the front page of the Daily Planets from Superman Returns but I can't find a close up reference pic of them either... Can anyone help out? I put a temp table of contents up there for the time being. The third attached pic is what I have so far and the two screenshots are from the pilot.

I've always wanted this paper since the show began. The next front page I'm working on is the Lex Luthor Running for President paper from last years season finale... Having a hard time finding that Luthor picture as well but I found a good enough pic of Michael Rosembaum that'll work well.

Any help is much appreciated!
