Show your Dr. Who props!

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

I suggest Tamiya Clear green which is available in both Bottle and spray can forms. I hope that helps.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Does anybody do an accurate cast of the Paul McGann/800-Trekker TARDIS key?

Not really as most would consider it re-casting, but yeah I'm dying to have one too. I wish Mooncrest would sculpt one as their other keys are brilliant.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Mooncrest says they need twelve interested parties to consider it. I'm one, you're two.

anybody else on board?

and it's not recasting if you take measurements from a real one, sculpt your own, and cast it.

If they post an interest thread in the JY I'm sure it'll take off.

Why not post some pictures?

Will the claws be flick-extendable? Will it feature a working light and sound chip?

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

I just reread the email, and it says ten, not twelve. And I would buy at least two.

that's four.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Here's the email I got from Mooncrest:

Thank you for your email, I am a member on the RPF and have been for over 2 years but to be honest I don't really post on forums and so I haven't reached the 20 posts you need to be able to put anything in the junk yard, I currently running everything on my own so barely have time, but if you think that there is enough demand to cover the cost ( roughly 12 keys would cover all the materials for making and moulding but not labour ) I would be happy to make something that would make people happy to have

so, if there's enough demand, this will happen.

i already sent him an image with measurements, so we just need interest at this point!

Can someone be kind enough to advise me on what type of "clear green paint" you use for the Mooncrest Models Demat Circuit ? I've never heard of clear paint before and have no idea what to look for. Thank you :)

I hope they make some more of these. Saw it was Out Of Stock.

I would love to have a De-Mat circuit in my collection. It's one of the first props I think of when I think of Pertwee's area.

I've seen him casting parts for a new run on his facebook page. He's also working on a stunning foam 1:1 Dalek mutant.
