Severance

Please be gentle with me here: this is my first proper make. I am in no way a Luddite but bringing this card into the world requires a weapons-grade amount of technological bodging on my part. IMG_8287.jpeg

The goat itself is a Frankenstein’s monster of 3 different goat vectors I found online. The star was put together in a similar fashion.

The envelope, though not self-made, still provided ample opportunity for tearing my hair out. Envelope sizes here in the UK differ to US sizes, so I’m not sure it’s completely faithful to the screen version… but it’s as close as I could get without firing myself into space in frustration. I am pleased with the particular green I chose in the end, though.

Nicely done, love it!

More sticky notes props!
Helly's I QUIT! note:

Not perfect, but maybe I will do the writing by hand. Made as 70 x 55 mm.

Mark S note written as Mark W:

I took the last 2 close ups of the blurry stick it note and printed it on a paper slightly upscaled, then I took the transcript of the note from the Severance Wiki and arranged the text to somehow match the words seen on the blurry images. First I wrote the text in pencil following the handwriting from Irving's Exports Hallway drawing and the visible text on Mark S' fake note:

I used this as a template to make 4 variations of the text with a gel pen; separated the variations, removed the background and added the text to the sticky note:

The 1st variant is the worst, while the 4th one is the best (in my opinion). You can mix them to your liking! These are made as 100 x 72 mm.

For this I can't take credit as the hi-rez file originated from here ==> And the correctly colored blueprint (mid to low-rez) on the Severance Wiki ==> Outie Family Visitation Suite.

I took the file from reddit, made it grayscale, did some light/contrast corrections, then inverted the colors (negative image) and finally colorized it to match the one in the show:

Hi-rez here ==> OFVS Blueprint.png. This file is made as 1125 x 750 mm, but you can resize it to your needs.

I have made a Marvel Team-Up with Astyanax, who commissioned as much as possible drawings from Irving's sketchbook. The point of this is that he will be offering these in his Etsy Shop, possibly next week, so sadly these pages won't be shared at hi-res publicly, at least not in the foreseeable future.

Here are all the pages at low-res (just a show off):

Everything you see was hand drawn (even the text) using a LED light pad, then scanned at 600 dpi. I used 4 portraits, each with 3 variations, and 2 versions of the Exports Hall, each with 2 variations.

And now for the free stuff!
Because I was in my hand drawing mood, I did Helly's lamp drawing:

Made these as standard 4 x 3 inch, or 102 x 77 mm.

Also did 3 variants of Burt's O&D to MDR map:

This is just a repost of the vectorized version of the map and the front (just to have all the files in one place):

These are 90 x 50 mm.

I managed to do Irving's sketchbook from scratch:

Note that I have added Helly's lamp drawing and Burt's O&D to MDR map drawing as a bonus.

Took me 2 days to make: 1st day to print the pages, trim, fold, sewn the set of pages and finally glue them together, then left it overnight to dry, pressed between several heavy books; 2nd day I did the cover, added the black elastic and the bookmark made from a flat shoelace, then glued everything together.

I watched several youtube videos before I tackled the sketchbook, but also helped that I already had an older notebook with the same size and was the main inspiration of the build. There's a detachable plastic black sleeve cover, with a thin cardboard cover and 5 sets of around 16 pages, each set stitched individually with white thread:

At the time the photos were taken I had only the green paper clip for the new group photos, but I swear to Kier, it was put on the correct way. In the meantime I have bought some binder clips, but none of the colors are correct.
