Thanks ggriffaw ! That's even more complicated than the Boba Fett lineage!!!Below is a link I found on the Sith Lord Detachment about the lineage of many Vader helmets.
For those who may know is Mike still taking orders for DJ casts or do I have to wait on another run? The Prop Den thread says run closed.
he is posting on facebook that he is selling a bit of unpainted kits, as it's a bit easier for him with the whole covid situation and other things. So I guess he can take orders.
Contact Mike on Facebook.
just try here then. VaderMonkeyUgh this really irritates me. Why does everything have to be done through Facebook? There is a reason a lot of us are not on FB. Cause it sucks.

I want one of those too badly but just don't have the money sadly. those are so nice and this is the first time I have the chance to witness authentic casts available.
Out of curiosity, can someone tell me, has the DJ been “cleaned up” after being pulled from Rick’s mold? The SL seems to show a lot more (what I believe is) original surface detail.
I’ve been following the thread closely and got a slight itch for one as well. Certainly out of my price range, but I appreciate that the option is there for folks who are that into Vader.

Yes, the DJ was brilliantly painted, so I would hate to think that it was stripped again before molding. I was lucky enough to hang out with DJ at Celebration IV in LA and he brought his helmet with him so I was able to see it in person. It was a really superb looking piece.
Yes it is a lot of "elitism" and "ego".But if everybody could have everything in the hobby...would it not be boring?
