Sandbagger's Iron-Man builds - Now in STEEL

I've taken ill again, spent most of the day off work and asleep in the warmth of the man-cave under the observatory. I did wake and for about an hour, did a bit of soldering/tweaking.

I got as far as getting activation working seamlessly.

Phenomenal! I've bought and rebuilt a MK43 and thought that that was an undertaking...this is absolutely a work of art AND the reason/motivation is the "why" I want to do what we do as costume/prop builders - to bring smiles to others :) Good on you Sir!

Nope,we're right there with you.
SB,we hope your health has improved since then and that you're alright.

Hey SB, love your work (get well soon if you're still sick ) I wanted to know how your ab and Cod piece were put together and how you get in and out of it?

Mighty Sandbagger, Obviously something is up. Hope it's nothing too serious. We're all hoping for your triumphant return soon. Best wishes.

FYI a Quote from Sandbagger's Knife Thread (from a week ago)

Sorry guys, although my health is slowly and finally improving, I am still waiting on electronics for the Iron Man Suit project, not only parts from overseas, but my electronics guy has been pretty busy with real work so i'm kind of stalled for a while.

Great to see you back SB!
The inside of your helmet is looking about as high tech as Tony's :cool
Can't wait to see it in action!

Now the camera and internal video glasses are installed behind the faceplate, it's time to start practicing some mobility with the distortions of the wide angle in mind. I feel more confident already after just a short walk.
