Limited Run RUN CLOSED * DL-44 ESB Blaster Machined Parts Set * RUN CLOSED

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

Ok, we got everything straightened out with the prints that I have received so far.

Here is an abbreviated image of what I have so far :)

Re: DL-44 ESB Blaster Active Project

Looking good. Will we be able to see some images soon? I mean to sound like I doubt the images you posted, but real world images would really help me to dig down and analyze the result. :)

If you mean images of a real part then the answer is no.

I keep my active projects affordable by skipping the prototyping phase.

If I had to pay the shop to make a single set of prototype parts it would add a lot to the cost of the kit and that could cause the project to fail, which would leave me responsible for cost of those parts.

My Active Projects have always been run this way and as far as I know there has not been a single person dissatisfied the accuracy or quality of the parts.

If you have the time take a look at the ROTJ Blaster threads which was last years Active Project.

This project has a large percentage of new people but a larger percentage of the members have been involved in many of my other Active Projects.

I'm sure they will attest that my projects produce some of the nicest replicas available.

I wasn't insinuating that anyone would be dissatisfied in any way.

I was simply asking because in my experience, things can turn out quite different than they do on paper. As someone who has never purchased one of your offerings, and had been burned by "not exactly as shown" vendors in the past, I just wanted to ask.

I've looked at your other offerings and they do look amazing. As I've said before, I don't think anyone could do more accurate ESB parts based on the amount of effort you've put in. I didn't know this was how you worked, and I apologize for any offence.

No offence taken, I hope my reply didn't come across as if I was offended. I was just letting you know how the projects run

I actually glad you brought this up because there are a lot of new people in this group so I dug into my archives and found some pictures of my original run done way back in the early 2000s

My shop has a set of the Bespin parts from this run taken right off my own blaster and my updated prints. They are using both as a reference to re-create the prints and code they use to make the parts

This active project has expanded on the ESB parts set by adding an more parts to the Hoth Version and updating a part of the original Bespin Set.

Back then there wasn't many people interested in hoth version so I only offered a Hoth Flash Hider

Here is a list of new parts added to or updated by this project

  • Hoth scope mount
  • Hoth scope bracket disk reversed engineered from a real Thorens Disk
  • Hoth Scope Bracket Spacer
  • 2 Variation of the Hoth Flash Hider
  • Han "Bespin" Scope Mount
  • Updated Bespin Scope Bracket Disk
