The effort is being made by matt winston to honor his dads work at monsterpallooza, that would be the most ideal place to have a gathering.
the location isn't ideal for most.
either way the lair will have some representation at the show and of course whatever we can do to support the efforts of the show, we will try.

I already bought my tickets for the show for the whole weekend, so count me in for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

This is definitely in my play book. Saving my pennies for the trip to the west coast. Always wanted to visit California and this seems like a good a time as any!

@ Blasturbator: Monsterpalooza appears to have great potential for Pred get together. Then in April, Wonder Con is gonna be in So. Cal in Anaheim. As for Anaheim Comic-con, this year, it was in April, but for 2012, I have no clue. So there's a couple of suggestions.

i'm only kidding in the aspect of never ever doing something as lame as that whole thing, The Hunters Lair is more than just a dollar sign to me.....i don't own the lair, so i had no say in the matter, but i didn't approve of it and i did voice my opinion on it.
Whatever, the results of it all are there for all to see and judge for themselves...
back on topic....the monsterpallooza show seems like the best concerted effort to make a predacon happen

you guys will love Monsterpalooza for the pure FX geek factor of it ..Seriously ,..its a party for every FX artist disguised as a con. its not huge at all ..very small and intimate ..so lots of face time with Steve Wang, Don Lanning, Pat Mcgee... JJ Abrahms is there walking around every year ..As is Guiellmo Del Toro ( both very approachable and talkative) the Museum houses some of the coolest creatures you guys have seen in your favorite films. Plus ..we can all go party later in Hollywood if ya want

You know me man my birthday weekend, spending time with fellow lair brothers/sisters, downing some beers, and having fun at Monsterpalooza count me into the partying factor afterwards
