Well over 75 hours but not all continuous............and still more needs to be added for upkeep and OCD screen accuracy.

Nah! I'm no longer dating the wig....it is now my SA OST waistcoat from ACME! It's cuter!

Just wanted to say you all do a great job. I am in the process of making my first wig going for the OST look and would not of had a clue what to do if it wasn't for looking & learning on all of these posts TY. On another note I was talking to a friend who ages bones and asked id he could help me make the "zombie fingers" he then tells me why make them I have real finger bones that you can have. It is cool yet strange at the same time.

Oi! Chad..got your message. The source for the lampwork bead is out. I asked them if they would get some more and they had no idea if they would order anymore. Perhaps if there is demand she said. Balboa charm was found at a local Pasadena bead store. They are now out of business. I found those by mistake.....

Thanks mate! It is a labor of love. I am finishing up some more things:

- Coloring my breeches to match up to the OST color
- Weather my new CABoots
- Weather my new OST waistcoat
- Build my new OST baldric
- Mod a Zizzle like toy flintlock to resemble the second Queen Anne
- Update the wig dreads making them thinner and shorter. Also adding more SA bits to the wig. Casting some different pieces too.
- Working on a new lighter wristwrap to match as best as possible to OST version.
- Working on a new more SA OST leather tricorn as well.

It shows on the pictures!! Making things yourself is the greatest part of it all!!

There's so much goin' on in these Sparrow-costumes (old look, as wel as the new one), but that's the fun of it.

Well the cross doohickie thing pulled out of the mold. I used 1:1 ratio of resin to nickel powder. Cleaned it up a bit on the back with a Dremel because it is flat and easier for casting. It is also heavy!

Cleaned up the part with turpentine and used steel wool to bring out the metal / pewter color. No paint was used. I like the darker pewter color rather than the shiny silver. It looks more weathered.

Of course we haven't seen any pics other than blurry versions. And the ones that have been released vary in color from stone tannish brown with white stripes to shiny gun metal silver.

For scale next to Zombie Finger.

Rigged up with the leather strap!

Don't know what it is, how it got there, or what is is used for but I like it!!!

(did you check for african crosses yet? No ethiopian or nigerian, I'd say go for north african stuff, Morocco especially, some interesting shapes you might find...)
