Can I just say - I’ve owned two boosters now, both variants without the flash hiders and just the nut. Both nuts could never come off.
So whilst I probably agree they just cut the flash hider in half IF it was a variant with a flash hider.
It’s also equally possible they had a ‘nut only’ version and packed it out in a different way.
