New model for OWK three holes saber... (New pics on pg 13. 11-17-2024)

Interesting. I only know him from the work I did for him on his lightsabers and seeing him on-and-off at the yearly NTX prop parties. He was always very nice and gracious to me, and everyone at the yearly get-togethers seemed to enjoy his company as well. He and I don’t hang out or anything so those stories about him are news to me. I can’t say anything about what’s been said because I just learned about them now and I don’t know anything. All I can say is he was always very nice and courteous to me.

I’m in NTX and now curious about these “prop parties”. What are these events all about and are they still a thing?

So here's a question for you guys... Back in the day, when the best version of OWK's saber was JediVic's saber, he produced his in Stainless Steel, and it drove folks like Larbel and MR to make Stainless OWK saber when they were shooting for the best of the best.

So, my question is, do folks here still think that that? Is there a market for a FX OWK saber made from stainless? Or do people prefer Aluminum because it looks more accurate to the original prop?

I would be in for a stainless steel FX TPM OWK. That was the first version I regretted passing on when I first got into the hobby at the time and learned about Larbel. I will say I am a bit more partial to the matte black look on the black anodized portions, however, as well as brushed stainless steel. Also, didn’t realize Vic’s was also stainless.
