Mandalorian Reference Thread

Yeah, but back then boba's armor (and helmet) was established as durasteel. (Now retconned to be beskar) so as I was saying, since it is now officially Beskar, what could dent it in this case? Since that clip is not canon.
I know many on here hate the animated series, but this is an animatic from one of the unfinished Clone Wars arcs that was shown at one of the Celebrations.

Also the possibly totally real Toilet Siphon as a microphone, just like ANH!
Is that the double microphone thing that Han uses after blasting apart the console? I noticed the very similar looking one in the last episode, I had no idea it was a toilet siphon hah.

Is anyone else already trying to work out the details of the new Boba Fett vest and suit? I really hope they have at least a page for Boba in the upcoming visual guide as that would likely be a big help with this.

Did anyone spot the duffle bag Din put his armor in? Turns out I have a similar one at home. Army surplus. Seems to be post Vietnam. I can make out a stamp from the 70ies on mine.

Was that a new lightsaber variant? The proportions don't seem to match the TLJ saber. It's cleaner, and the face looks to be flat (but it's pretty unclear). I will say that compared to the resin TLJ saber, the pommel cubes appear to be shorter, the tri-ring is at 3 o' clock (edit: nvm it's at 9 o' clock), and the control box looks like it's taller.

I'd also say you know who's you know what...

is different from the TLJ version. Emitter plate does indeed look flat and the windvane looks more in line with the MoM prop in size and color. Buttons and control lights also seem to be smaller. Grenade rings look even in size. Overall, something of an idealized version of the Cave build? Pommel looks smallish though.

Given the color of the blade, the ambient light being reflected, and the fact that all the enemies were CG, I’m pretty sure it was a practical lit stunt in every shot. Given that it wasn’t used in any duels in the ST, it’s probably made by the Mando production team.

Hasbro is taking pre-orders today for the final Mando Monday for the new Boba Fett helmet. This is just a digital rendering, but they did include the heavy texture. They will also have the Dark Saber up. I assume it will have a blade, but have not seen any pictures of it yet. I will be ordering both of these today.

UPDATE: I just read on JediTempleArchives.com that the Boba Fett helmet will be $119 (same as previous Boba Fett helmets) and the Dark Saber will be $250, so it will definitely have a blade.
