Mandalorian Reference Thread

That is weird. I can't tell whether that bit between the third and fourth finger is something protruding from the grip or if it's some detail on her pants.

The bottom of the grip is very boxy - flat surfaces, 90 degree angles. It also gives the impression of being a relatively long grip.

I can't help but wonder if it is not a grip from a firearm at all, but perhaps some other found object or even something fabricated.

In fact, the more I look at it, the more I'm thinking the boxy part is actually a belt buckle.

It could be that the grip is mostly covered by her hand. Pardon the goofy drawing, but maybe something like this?

Any of the painters on here have any idea what kind of paints you need to use to make that metallic finish!?

The armor looks like steel for crying out loud

What a paint job
A good chance they might have used...."Alclad" paint brand. Has a very reflective quality to it!

The oddest has to be that grip! We can't figure it out. I estimated and traced its contours, and it made it even weirder.

Now that we've seen the costumes, I think we can say that is indeed a belt buckle. I'm also thinking that the bit between her 3rd and 4th finger is actually just the corner of the grip rather than a protrusion. I think the grip is the same as that in this picture:

Here's a good shot of the right of the receiver which matches perfectly to what Gina's got. The rear sight was a dead giveaway as were the two pins in the trigger group.

What are these? Anovos? Def not R1 lids but R1 armor :)
Edit, Just realized as I comped these two frames together, the Stormy on right has been flipped in shot

That was for a big scene with loads of troopers, they would be in regular OT armor, these guys are in R1 suits so i think its a couple of stunt guys in close up.

Is the LMG she has not a Bren?

EDIT: nevermind, I found the post where someone said that it's a Bren! Sorry, I thought y'all were still trying to identify it!
