Another update for today. That makes 2 in one day!
I made that table in the first post with the metal bands...well I have 2 corner booths...the other is black. So since I couldn't make them match, I decided to make the rustic table the "crew" table and the black one, the captain's table.
I painted the Jolly Rodger on it just now, still need to dirty it up with some brown and yellow. Then clear coat. Gave it an over spray look even though it was hand painted, just to see if I liked it. Thoughts?

UPDATE 3/28 Wallpaper for the theater arrived today! Installing tomorrow.
Built a cabinet door over the wine rack...
Built up and installed the mansion door handle
I took an old door knob cut it in half, flattened the bell shape with a hammer. The drilled 4 small screws through the metal into the dragon. Then JB weld the heck out of it. My only regret is not backing the tail with metal to avoid breaking.
But I bought a knob with a circular flower shroud, and the door plate...added them all together and repainted. I know it's not an exact replica but I was more interested in making it my own.
Also bought a black door topper for the french doors in the pirate bar...dry brushed gold over it and then did the same to the 2 skulls I have.

Theater wallpaper is up. WOW is it "busy". I knew it would be, but wow. It should tone down when I get to adding framed photos and props. Still need to do crown molding and molding on the wainscotting.

Bump for better pics. Starting to get more props down there. Still need some where to put mu Proton Pack...so it isn't on the floor and in the hands of our 1 year old.
Also working on a Mansion clock. And a coffin shaped counter top...once I get the couch and get theater seats my plan is to build a toe-pincher coffin top counter/bar to sit behind the theater seats.
The mansion plaque display needs work...I plan on hiding the light with an urn and putting some of the decorative dead branches (like sold at craft stores) inside. The plaque is the first thing you see at the foot of the stairs and separates the two rooms.

Soooo goooood. The wife and I have Disney annual passes and Pirates and the Haunted Mansion are the only rides we have to ride every single time we visit. Keep it up, sir! Nice to see this project is still alive!

Finally updated the boring mansion plaque display at the foot of the stairs.
Spring time I will rip the paneling off the front of the bar and do something that fits the room better.

Looks amazing! I LOVE the HM sign display. I need to something with my sign.
On a side note, I noticed you have Natty Boh coasters on your table. I didn't think anybody would care about Boh outside of Maryland. Are you from here originally?

No my wife's aunt went there and brought me back a 6 pack...and coasters...that is some delicious beer. Haven't found any here in Detroit.
