Jailer's attempt at designing his Predator

I will try and get some art up here. I have been in and out of the hospital twice since my last entry. I just got word today that I am going to lose my other foot. So guess who is going to be on their backside for a while, AGAIN. I guess that I won't be wearing any predator costumes again. Sucks.

George ;-(

Chin up George...you still have your hands to draw with and you still have your wits...stay positive and keep drawing

Not the best of news indeed, makes me want to design a predator just for you... Chin up indeed, keep drawing those insanely brilliant designs you have up your sleeve!

Thats horrible news George but as PredatrHuntr you still have your hands and wits.
I hope we get to see some more of your work in the futurem it has been a huge inspiration to me and others I'm sure

Hello,

I am a fairly new member, sorry to hear about your situation,my prayers are with you.On a better note ,those are some bad ass drawings.Have you taken any classes or are you self taught?

Take care ,Daren

Not really sure what words anyone can speak to offer comfort in such a difficult situation as adverse as what you are dealing with. All I can say is when life knocks us down and hands us adversity and hardships it is out mission to overcome those hardships. Two things are very clear to me after reading back through this entire post.

#1 You are an artist of incredible talent with a passion and love for doing it and it shines in your work. I hope I get the chance to see more of your amazing work in the near future.
#2 (most important) You clearly have a warrior's spirit. I can not tell you how much this means. As a fellow LE and prior military myself I can tell you that nothing means more than the will to to fight and survive. You keep that up and you will be fine. You obviously have that as each time you have suffered a setback you have returned.

Now as for the donning a predator again....if that is what you want to do then we will make it happen. I do not "blow smoke" or make empty promises. If I have to machine the prosthetics myself I will. You get ahold of me and say the word.

this was to at a council meeting when a young warrior tells of his conquests, " ...and before it died, it used its last strenght anf saluted me as the superior hunter with an homorable jesture from its race..."

I laughed at that one. Thats great!

Thanks for all your drawings! You made me realise that one can create custom predators that actually look good! Now I'm not restrained to the movies designs anymore!

Has anybody heard from George lately? I know that he was going back into surgery but is he ok he hasn't been back on since is last post over 2 months ago. I sure hope that his surgery didn't take a turn for the worse.

Hello people and preds.

I just got home the other day. I went into the hosp[ital to hve my other foot (front half) amputated.

during the surgery, it would appear that I have two heart attcks. It was determined thsat emergancy was required and after getting my very groggy 'OK', I went under the knife again. They did seven by-passes. I was told that most people may have up to four, so it was the entire artery suppling blood to the left side of the heart. I was told later that during surgey, that they 'lost me' twice and brought me back.

They found out that the top part of the artery was in the progress of failing, this section is, I'm told, called the 'WIDOW MAKER' as once it fails, the person dies before they hit the ground. My father died from that one. While I do not understand everything, it was determined that my gall bladder had to go (I blech alot now). I then developed an infection in the chest would and I had to be opened again so it could be drained ande not go to the hert. My chest was opened again because it was not healing very well and thsat was done about two weeks ago. I am home now with tubes out of my chest and foot. The foot is doing well and my chect looks like I survived a chest burster. Walking is difficult at times, but managible and I am getting better. Think of both of your feet being asleep, numb, and then trying to walk with pressure pain replacing numbness.

I do have some drawings to post as sooon as I get my scanner hooked back to me computer. My sons re did my system while i was gone, My mother got me a brand new big screen laptop. I just wish that I didn't have to go to the hospital to luck out like that. I was touched by people wishing me luck and I wish to thank them. You may find it hard to believe, but I did cry while reading them.

I'm going to leave now and look around the site and see what is new.

Glad to be back, in more ways than one,

George :)

Damn George it's sad to hear all the stuff you've had to go through, but it's great to hear that you're getting better. Now tell your sons to hook everything back up so we can see what you have been working on. Here's hoping to a fast and healthy recovery, and we're glad to have you back.

-Chris

Best wishes George, heres hoping this is the last of your health troubles, and speedy recovery from them.
