UPDATE:
The good news is that the Idols have arrived!
The bad news is that some of the boxes were pretty beat up and the Idols inside were damaged!
I partly blame the factory for not packaging these well enough, and also the shipping company, Fedex, for not taking better care of these boxes, which were 50 pounds each...
I'm still going through the rest of the 15 boxes and checking to see how many were damaged. I should be finished checking for damage today...
There are a lot of Idols that are in pristine condition, but also a lot that are not. So, after I assess how many are damaged, I'll be able to gauge how many of you on the list will be getting an Idol soon and how many will have to wait a little bit. The factory worked fast on making these and it shouldn't take them long to send replacements for the damaged Idols.
So, as soon as I know how many are damaged, I'll communicate with the factory on getting this situation corrected and hopefully a timeline.
Sorry for this, and I'll keep you updated as soon as I know more!

Omg!!!!! That’s horrible!! Truly sorry to hear this happened. Unfortunately it’s really difficult these days to rely on anyone to really package and ship without damage.
Thank you for being so diligent and motivated to do all of this, from the very beginning to seeing it all out to the end.

Here's a couple of pics....
Mostly a lot of dings, dents, and scrapes on the gold-plating.
Out of the 120 Idols, only 70 are still in perfect condition!
I am in contact with the factory now, and seeing how fast they can correct this.

That is pretty much what they did....
I even expressed my concerns how they were going to ship these, but they said to not worry. So much for that...
They should have used that same Styrofoam on the walls of the box to separate each idol in it's own little cubicle.
Each Idol is around 4.5 pounds. So, each box is close to 40 pounds each. Tossing around one of these boxes weighing this much is going to cause some damage if they are not packaged correctly...

I'll be starting on the good Idols today and should start shipping these out next week!
I'm going to start contacting everyone as I go down the list. So, as soon as 5 Idols are ready to ship, I'll contact the first 5 people on the list for final payment, and so on...
Unfortunately, Chinese New Year is going on right now, and all the factories are closed.
So, they won't start handling the replacement of damaged Idols until February 10th...
Hopefully, I'll have a timeline soon as to when the replacement Idols will be ready.
