I'm gonna need a bigger boat,ORCA

Testing some tinted lacquers on the transom to give it that aged red look , I think it going to take several layers stippled in till I’m happy. Put some wash on the throttle and you can read the name. Very happy with the tiger shark jaw. The aging and rust layers are still a few weeks off.

Ladder,
Cage,
Barrel stools,
Figures,
Marker flags,
Bottle screws and rigging,
Side harpoons,
Side hooks,
Roach poles,
Oh and of course the barrels,
So much left to do and all big jobs,
Chum,
Base ball bats.

Then on to the rest of the props,
1:1 table,
1:6 Bruce
1:2 fin
Quints window,
1:6 part of Ben gardens boat.

On the bright side I’ve done the 1:2 barrel, bouy and the 1:1 harpoon gun.

I just had the most wonderful talk with my wife.

I am playing on my phone, going through new posts and I come across #472, above.

My wife is walking through the room and I spin the phone around and say, "Do you see that cool cloud banner? That is partly because of me because I mentioned the windows." Note: I love that flimzy even puts up with us all.

She says, "When did you get that?". So, obviously, I buy a lot of photo studio stuff and she is curious about another possible purchase.

I say, "No, she put that up so we couldn't tell if it was in the back yard or on the ocean."

She says, "Ya, but when did you do those pictures?"

As the narrator of this little convo, I can tell you I was lost at this point. I said, "not sure what you mean". She says, "ISN'T that you?" At which point I realized I was showing her on my tiny phone screen. She thought I had gone to visit someone who owned the boat, THE FULL SIZED BOAT, so I could pose in my Quint costume ..... WITH this new banner that I probably bought for a one time photo shoot. And yes, she has plenty of examples to back this up...hehehe.
