I'm gonna need a bigger boat,ORCA

We had them in England made by palatoy and called action men instead of GI JO.

I remember seeing them in Harrods back in the early 70's.
Some of them where dressed as the royal guard.

IIRC Big Jim was called Mark Strong.
Hasbro made G.I. Joe here in the States from '64 to '69. Because of the Vietnam war they changed Joe to the Adventure Team from '70 to '76.

G.I. Joe and Major Matt Mason did it for me back in the 60's. Then Star Wars came out and actions figures went crazy.

I’ve reached that half way point ,where a good deal of the ground work is done but when you look at what’s left to make my knee go weak.
Pulleys, tuna bell crane arm, port hole and flag pole.

Am on a road trip and haven't looked at updates til now. Ever more amazed. Your progress is always leaps ahead of anything I expect so only you would think this is slow. I think this is the difference between knowing what to do and learning what to do. It would take me months just to understand how to rib the hull. The super detailed portions are just mind blowing. It's no wonder our action figure always looks stunned. It's appropriate for a first time boat owner to have that expression.
