HUNTORIALS

well, that previous company are dressed in a huge suit of failure and didn't even send a reply but, i have found a uk based company that sells the bloody stuff.
enail sent, i await a reply, looks like i might have to buy a thousand meters of the stuff so if any one wants some i will be more than happy to send it, no idea of cost yet. probably won't be till monday until they get back to me.

still searching though

success! i think, got an email back from a sales advisor of buildspan, he says for me to get i touch with him for quantities, lengths and widths, gonna do that in 2 weeks when i get back from holiday and have some spare cash, i'll email him tomorrow with what i need and post up prices when i get a reply.

So would those of you who have experience with both the Bambooie dreads and backrod dreads say that they are similar to each other in material, movement and density?

I've been saving up for bambooie dreads, but I might not be able to get them in time for the AvPII premier. Backer rods might do the trick, but only if they are convincing.

Backer rod is stiffer then Bambooie dreads.

esdain i wont be needing backer rod now as ive gone for' shockwolfes' idea of b&q soaker hose, theve turned out beautiful ive melted the ends on the stove and they look very round .gone find me some rings now to use as beads.

nice, i made a set like those, but omfg are they heavy, or maybe i have a weak neck.

but np, i have a source and when i get back from ireland on tues will probably order it then.

the other problem with the shockwolf ones were that i could only sew a few on before i either hurt myself, bent a needle or found something that didn't have risk of injury.

got thru that prob cutting last 1/4 of inch on cap so that i dont have to sew thru all off the "tube" also heating the end up and making it thinner ,works a treat!

oh, how did you heat them to make them thinner? we talking lighter type heat or industrial bunsen burner type heat. naked flame, hot water, napalm or heated cookie tray type thing, i'd be interested to see some pics to.
