I remember the 2018 jacket sold out in less than 2 weeks. Unfortunately there hasn't been that level of excitement for them since then.

Gotta say, since HG have been regularly posting pictures of their new jacket, many images do appear greyer than previous. Whether or not the images have been manipulated I don't know, but I've found myself a little more happy with it the more I see it. Would love to see pics of anyone who has purchased one when they eventually arrived.

If you're willing to modify certain parts to your liking, I don't see why not. If you think it's possible, go ahead. I'd also like to see what it looks like.

Honestly it looks like the same jacket they have been showing for weeks. Still has the oversized pocket flaps.

Strange, I think the images have differed quite a lot across their socials. Some seem bluer, some appear greyer. The flaps and shape remain consistent however. As I said, they may have manipulated the images by adding filters in some posts.

I don't have that level of skill myself sadly, so would need the assistance of a local tailor. It's very unlikely I'll purchase anyway given the short comings.

I felt like I was coming around to it, since of those available on the market it's still one of the better options, but the remaining shirt comingsand the high price tag havr ultimately put me off purchasing. Been hoping some older jackets might hit the Bay but so far no luck sadly!

I'd love any original Marty style Guess jackets in any color at this point. The 1983 that Mitas sold me served it's purpose as an everyday wear, but I wouldn't be comfortable to use it in any damaging situations, nor for a cosplay. I dry clean it, most of the time, but the first time I washed it in the washing machine, it faded like crazy, especially on the shoulders. I don't wear it much anymore.

I have the screen accurate Guess jeans, a reissue of the Shah Safari shirt that was released a few years back, some Nike Bruins, the East Pak backpack, JVC camcorder and Valterra Skateboard - always on the lookout for a Class 5 vest, decent jacket, the aiwa Walkman and Zeiss sunglasses to complete the full look! (...not forgetting some purple Calvin Kleins )

I understand the pattern looks bad, but they could've at least taken decent photos for the website. Look at these artifacts!

That was so weird the first time I saw it. I actually thought the indigo color was a mistake, but it wasn't.

I think I saw the one from 2021 and honestly that's probably the worst one, the gray looks almost black. I personally like the indigo more than the OG, but also it's that accurate to the movie. It looks like they used some photos with bad color correction as their basis, even though yes Marty's jacket did have a little bit of indigo to it. But not this much.

Gotta say, if Headgoonie's looked like that I would have no doubts and 100% go for it.

It looks like headgoonie just saw this and was like "yeah this is the correct color" For the 2025 one. Like I said, I actually like the indigo personally. But it terms of accuracy color it's not good. There could be a method to maybe correct the color but that could ruin the jacket. I think if you fade Headgoonie's jacket on the indigo parts it will probably look more accurate.

I know they used EmmaInCandyland's modified jacket for reference at some point. They did exactly what she did and kept the motorbike lining on the back.
