Limited Run DONE

Re: SOLO: Sabacc deck

I really like my deck.

It seems like you want out of the Sabacc Deck business.

However if you,d be willing to take on a smaller project, I’d be interested in a winning hand set of cards for display purposes. I'd hate to split up my deck.

Main problem is shipping. 90% of the packages are shipped to the other side of the world. This is a lot of work and financial adminstration, it takes all the fun out of doing a run.

Due to the holidays and extremely busy weeks at work I still haven't been able to ship all the packed yet. Sorry for the delay.

If I'm able to find a better way to do the shipping I might do another run. If so, I'll open a new thread for that run. As you've all shown there is enough interest.

I feel your pain on this - My friends in the Nordics have similar issues.

If you do decide to go ahead with another run, I'd be happy to lend a hand if there's anything you can outsource.

For what's it worth, this has been one of the best runs I've been on. Very organized, regular communication, payment when ready to ship, and fast shipment to California and even without tracking, it arrived fast and without drama. The behind the scenes and upfront effort really shows. Really good job....really appreciate it. I'd be happy to do more business with you in the future.

Actually, when I do runs, I just do it all through PayPal. The customer must select items or services in PayPal.
This means that you can just click "print address label" on the PayPal transaction. It automatically launches the Customs form. And auto fills your address and the customers address. All you have to do is enter the item description. When you click okay, it deducts the price of shipping from your PayPal account, and automatically prints the customs forms label. Tracking is FREE and is automatically added to the PayPal transaction. It also AUTOMATICALLY sends the tracking number to the customers email.

You do almost nothing. Everything is handled flawlessly by PayPal.

Thanks for the suggestion, sadly, that option is not available in my country. I can print simple labels with paypal, but I still have to go to the post office and fill in the custom forms by hand.

Hopefully, they'll update it sometime in the future. It's very useful.

Didn't notice you were from the Netherlands. Here in Belgium, we only need to fill out the address of the buyer and your own address, that's all. No additional admistrative things...

If I can help out, I'd be glad too. I can act as "middle person" if you want. We see how many people still want a deck, I buy all these decks from you. You ship them to me (at that moment you are out of the picture), those shipping costs are devided over all decks (I guess it will just add one € for each deck or something), and I distribute them further (people in practice buy them from me at that point, and I'm responsible for further shipping).

So in that case, it's one transaction for you, multiple ones for me, but with less administrative hassle, apparently... I can mange this for 10 or 20 decks. If it will become 30 or 40, it might get a bit too much for me too...

-- Edit

Didn't take PayPal fees into account, though... :-(. This could be a few additional euro's per deck, I'm afraid...

Re: SOLO: Sabacc deck

Yeah, I was going to suggest something similar. If I took, say, 10 sets to me in California, then I could forward eight of them on to other buyers over here and just pop them into a flat rate box for seven dollars. Probably cheaper to ship a bunch of decks together and certainly easier for the customs forms!

Re: SOLO: Sabacc deck

Hey DBoz...great looking display of props you have! Do you mind if I ask where you got the small "Lando" version of the Millennium Falcon?

I could be wrong, but it looks like a Hot Wheels Star Wars ship - the boy has several :)
