This is something I wanted to do for a while now and I finally gathered the materials via IKEA and Hobby Lobby.

This is a complete collection of Disney Rebel/New Republic ship pins sold at Galaxy’s Edge. Two pins per blind box. The patch is also from Galaxy’s Edge.

That's a great display. I always considered the majority of pins and patches for the most part worthless trinkets. But I've never seen a display like that. Now I need to re-consider many pins and patches I've seen and have tossed away somewhere. I have a feeling I'll do something similar in the future.

If you have an IKEA near you, It is a great inexpensive source for these shadow box style frames picture frames. I opted for the extra deep style since I used 3 layers of foam board and these pins have a 3D relief, I wanted to make sure there was enough space.

I have done similar pin display with flatter pins and by replacing the backing board with foam board, cardboard, and felt. The back sticks out a pit but it can work.

Now have my eyes set on Kylo Ren's "broad sword", and Count Dooku's saber.

Also dropped Rey's into my cart (as my son is essentially dating her - another story), and Master Sol's as well...

Sol's design is a bit simple or plain, but the images of the replica sell it well, with nicely executed weathering (though likely the prototype).

The Character Warehouse Outlet Store has the Rey hilt for $74.99. If you find a reliable smuggler in the area, you might be able to get one at a decent price.

Question guys… Ahsoka belts at galaxy edge.. why are the so cheap on ebay?

I was looking at grabbing one for this up coming Halloween, they use to be 80-100 dollars, 70 retail, now they are 25 on ebay…

Anyone know why?

I saw a seller on a Fb group that had 5 Med/Large size ones, new with tags, for 12 bucks (plus actual shipping) each. I'd guess they didn't sell at all, and are are being dumped, maybe another Disney tax write-off?

At first I thought the listing I looked at was a scam.. then more and more I found under 30 bucks
