So I found a great image of the under sole of the boots Ryan Reynolds is wearing if this helps anyone be able to identify the boots he's wearing!

Good catch on the sole, but the ones on display don't match, maybe they didn't have extra's of Ryan's exact boots for the mannequins.

I know a few boots were used in both DP 1 and 2, solely (pardon the pun) due to the stunt performers using Nike SFB's, Danners.... probably a few others. Of course, the ones used on displays are probably whatever they can find that's close.

Hero boots for DP3 are the Speed 3.0 - asymetric toe is a give away
Stunts are still the Danners.

These are Speed 3.0 side zips, so they must have had multiple releases or something because these also have the same sole.

This is the ONE picture I can find that SEEMS so look like it has a side zipper on the boot, but all the images are so crappy that I can't say anything concrete.. But it looks like a zipper here, and also it looks like the leather "triangle" heel piece that looks to be peaking out of the red cover piece.. Looks like it's more "rounded" if that makes sense. The Fast-taco boot triangle leather heel piece looks very straight, and the heel on the Speed 3.0 is a bit more rounded.

Lolol I feel you! I had bought the Fast-Tac boots by accident and had to get the Speed 3.0 boots after!

That's what I'm guessing; either that, or they took the soles from one and the uppers from the other and mated them (which would be a nightmare in my opinion!).

From the people I know doing wardrobe, they'd never bother doing that. Unless the sole is a distinct character trait, they just go with what's there.

It's also worth considering if the soles changed with this year's model. We have visual confirmation but that might be of boots that were made before a certain time this year. Considering filming started in May 2023, maybe last year was the last year the soles were different?

I understand the audience here, but something more than the sole needs to be seen to really confirm. Hopefully, we'll see something soon.

Still blurry, but distinctive. I found this photo on a recent Instagram post from Ryan Reynolds. You can see some very distinctive identifying factors that match the Speed 3.0 boots. Here you can see the shape of the rounded triangle heel peeking out, as well as the shape of the bottom leather piece by the sole, and then the leather piece that shoots back up at about a 45 degree angle towards the front of the boot. The red boot cover pieces have straps on them, which is why it's so difficult to see actual boot identifying factors, but in this photo you can kinda see the identifying factors peaking out a bit. Also it looks like you can see the zipper here on this one too.

I found a pair of used Speed 3.0s on eBay that had the correct sole, which makes it seem like they have been updated with the Fast-Tac sole

I did find a piece of artwork that clearly showed a zipper.

If anyone has a dodgy copy of the film, just as Wolverine is about to attack ST, Dpool is stood beautifully side on and should be able to see the if there is a zip or not

Only issue with shots from the movie, I find, is that there's a possibility it might not be Ryan Reynolds in the suit, and could possibly be a stunt man, which might have a different boot. That being said if it's a really good shot of the boots, it's possible it could still be identified as one of these. Should be noticeable in theory lol

I've been specifically looking for mostly behind the scenes photos that have Ryan Reynolds with his mask off to make sure it's not a stuntman. Otherwise I could be looking at ****** blurry boot photos for no reason lol
