Currency of the 'Verse...

heres mine, just plain old deskjet printer with plain printer paper. Still gotta crumple em up a bit and crease them. These are with the new dimensions given. Toned down the saturation to be closer to the screen used one shown.

Printed up some more "uncirculated" currency and put it in my modified versions of SSB's shiny money bands.

That's gorram 27,800 in cold, hard, Alliance cash. :D :D :D

i was searching ebay and found them, looks cool but the price is too rich for me

Yeah, I saw those on E-bay the other day.

They're pretty cool, but I don't need 'em.

I remember seeing those. I do hope he keeps offering them -- I may get a set sometime... anyone know if they're "full size" or "book size?"

I do like the different reverse designs, and the lower denominations. I mean, who carries around a roll of 500s and 100s? that is ... unless they just got a down payment from a psychopath for a train job or suchlike, I mean. :)

I think those bills are "idealized" if I'm not mistaken.

Can anyone back me up (or correct me) on that?

hmm, maybe one of the digital art gurus here should whip up some modified versions of the bills with different denominations like the fella on ebay did, cause that would be mega shiny

Well, an easy way would be to just change the saturation and figure out what font to replace the denominations...

But I don't know what the font is.

or your currency is worth about as much as the yen.

logical.. except that Mal was eager enough to fly across the 'verse and risk getting shot (again) by Patience for "Two Hundred in platinum".. and he implied that three passengers wouldn't bring even that much.

Later, we find out from the doc in "Arial" that Alliance credits are worth more than platinum.

Seems they made a sweet take in Lilac.

Or more likely, someone forgot continuity. :p

Looking close, it appears he just used the scan from the book, or else has tweaked mine a bit.

It happens.

:lol How can I refuse now.

The note measures 8.1 inches (20.7 cm) from right to left and 4.1 inches (10.5 cm) from top to bottom. These measurements include the little white border.

Cool, pretty much the same data as Kaylee's, within a couple hundredths of a centemeter. ;)

I spent the better part of today working on this. What do ya think?

Resized & compressed for hosting purposes, of course.
