Costuming to an extreme...

I don't think people honestly care that much, but this is a forum and you'll find people do post to express their feelings about one topic or another.

Why are you directing the insults back to prop collectors? HeÂ’s modified himself to attract attention, whereas prop collecting is a hobby. At the end of the day if someone thinks modifying their body like that to have 7 " spikes as claws through the skin of their hands then fair enough to them, but don't stop people from expressing their opinions about it. Heck the page even reads 'Wolverine or Freakboy'. Come on now, what's your honest opinion on them, say your Mother/Daughter/Son came home with those in their hands what would you say? Fair play Mum, you look great.?

I just look at it being impractical and pretty pointless...why would he want to do that, if not only to draw attention to himself...be it good or bad? Either way IÂ’m sure he doesnÂ’t care, so fair play to himÂ…but IÂ’m not gonna post nice things about it. I wouldn't say I didn't like him for it, but surely I can say I don't like what he's done??

Look I know its extreme and not everyones cuppa, but honestly, must we always post so negatively when it doesn't even affect us? Who the firetruck cares, honestly? But, seeing the negative comments, apparently many of you do really care. Calling him lame 'cause of that? massive stretch...calling him a freak is a tad overboard. I bet there are more then a few members on the RPF who'd have what could be considered "lame" BM (not bowel movements either. ) and maybe there are those on here who you'd call a 'freak' if they passed you on the street. Sometimes I have a tendency to label, we all do, but I think that we all need some good manner correction every now and then...Lets just cut the nastiness for once. Is this possible?

As said, on the blog freakboy, label or not, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, deal with it, whether good or bad. The blog is on the internet, this forum is on the internet, fair game for comments good or bad, as said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Otherwise it should never have posted. You can label me a nerd for dressing up in costumes or collecting props, it doesnt bother me.

I think my big concern with this piercing/costuming would be the possibility of infection or the ability to do necessary daily things without convenience.

Everyone has their own way of appreciating their favorite characters in comics or movies and this is merely his way of doing it.

And the same goes with any other form of body mod.
The guy in those pics did something for himself.
It has nothing to do with any of you people here.
Its kinda sad to watch the group mentality form here.
