Thanks Generalurko, that's very kind of you to say so. I'm really proud of the stand so it's always great to hear it is appreciated.I'm definitely getting one at some point. It's just too beautiful to pass up. A true work of engineering AND art! It's so nice, it might make the blaster look cheap.
Question, that I don't think has been asked... have you done a test to get an approximation on how long the lights will last when run continuously just on batteries? I'm curious to know, so if you want to leave it on for a long time for display, if they'll last a day, 3 days, a week, a month?

That's a good question to which I'm not totally sure of the answer. There are quite a few LEDs, 57 to be exact, and they're running off 3xAA batteries so I suspect it's not a huge amount of time if left on continuously. It's why I designed it to also be powered from a USB power source.
