Bill Murray Signs On For Two More Ghostbusters

The Life Aquatic, Coffee and Cigarettes, Lost in Translation, The Royal Tenenbaums and Zombieland don't "jump out at you"? If that's the last "decade" of Bill Murray movies, on average, that's a classic every two years by my reckoning.

But Mic has already stated, that is your reckoning, not his. We all have an opinion, yup. But the problem is here is alot of those opinionated people believe that their opinion is fact and everyone else needs to take it up as their new religion and faith.

Sorry, but just because someone has had some mediocre movies in the last 10 years doesn't deject his entire catalog.

Big example. ** The original Star Wars movies are crap because George Lucas' most recent Star Wars films are crap **

Just because the most recent works were subpar doesn't bring down the whole lot. And with that said you're right. Perhaps a Ghostbusters movie without Murray could be good. But seeing as how he played the lead pivotal role in the 2 films, it would make things hollow without him, to fans and non-fans alike. Just the same as if you took Harrison Ford out of Indiana Jones....he is Indy, and will always be Indy...

Part 3 can work without Murray if they stick to an "origin" formula and bring in the new crew, but more importantly, a really great cast that people are going to fall in love with and a super story to back them up.
