The blue I'm going to use for the pocket flaps and shoulders will be different. The vest used a very dark blue. Same one used on the Mexican jacket.

It's going to a kid in my family. He hasn't seen Back to the Future yet so we are showing it to him in July on his birthday. Then giving him the jacket as a gift.

I have that Dual Control jacket for the arms and back, but the real issue is finding a vest that fits! Probably a 20 or an adult small-medium.

Yeah. It's the same vest. I don't fit in it so it hasn't been worn outside since the last owner had it.

This is shaping up to be a fantastic recreation of the jacket. One of my issues with any replica is the fact they all look "too new" which is obvious but there's such a sense of authenticity using genuine Guess denim from the era that no replica has quite matched. Really looking forward to seeing this completed.

The extra dye you see on the side of the pocket will be faded away by them. They realized after sewing the pockets on that they hadn't removed enough. Shall be fixed.
