At least these are actual, authentic items.

But I might blow a gasket if Jein's phaser sells for less than 2021's hero forgery. That would be unbelievable.

Another sign of the entropy encroaching on this once-proud franchise. Ten years (or more) ago, it probably could (and should) have sold for half a million.


And I'm absolutely appalled that the fake sold for nearly twice the price. Bet the 2021 buyer's kicking themselves. If they'd waited two years, they could have gotten the real thing for just over half the price.

That WAS surprising, especially since McCoys first season bag sold for $13K! The trifold starting bid was $4K with no takers.

I have it on good authority that there was indeed a buyer for the 2021 forgery, and that they went for it (knowing it might be a fake) rather than risk it later turning out to be real and missing out by not buying it.
