Sad to hear the news about Joseph. I do remember how active he was on the Secret Santa threads but also how busy he was with treatment. Good to know he found some joy reading everyones posts and joining in despite this.

Hey Everyone, I have some sad news to share.

Jmvgreek1 was always a steady contributor to the Secret Santa thread, looking forward to it every year. Last year he mentioned several times that he had cancer and was undergoing treatment. In fact, for the last few years, his only real posts were here. His last post was in the Secret Santa 2023 thread.

He didn't join this year, and honestly, I've been so involved with my own troubles in life that I didn't think much of it. Regular participants sometimes drop off for a year or two, it happens.

OzReturner noticed he was missing and did some sleuthing, only to find that, sadly, Jmvgreek1 passed away on February 26th this year.

It's always sad to lose someone. Joseph was a staple of the exchange and I was really shocked to hear the news despite knowing his health was dire.

Thank you, Oz, for letting us know. Rest in peace, Joseph. I know at least I will be thinking of you this Christmas.

Really sad news! I've only been part of this for about 4 years or so now, but he was always very active and passionate in the SS threads!

I remember reading about his health and hoping he'd get through it. Sad indeed!
