2024 SECRET SANTA THREAD - Registration Now CLOSED!

Im in, U.S. based, but I can ship/accept internationally.

Interests (I really like hand objects but anything is appreciated):
MEDIA:
-Blade Runner
-Star Wars
-Anything Ridley Scott
-Anything retro-future or cyberpunk
-Dune
-Bond films

STUFF (shelf objects):
-Interesting containers
-Overcomplicated useless gadgets
-Surprisingly heavy things (small scale)
-Something with a big red button
-Space Guns
-Gadgets

At the end of the day I'll appreciate anything. If you feel inspired to make something that has nothing to do with my interests please go for it. I love stuff, things with moving parts, really anything that has a story. My only request/condition is nothing that has to go on a wall to be appreciated, I have a tiny apartment and no more wall space. (recycling this post from 2 years ago as not much has changed)

First year getting involved in this, 100% down if you can count me in.
Im from the UK but will ship/receive international

My interest are pretty open but would say I'm similar to some members in saying physical items to hold;
Ghost In The Shell
The Joker (apart from the phoenix latest two)
Deadpool
Pulp Fiction / Tarantino
Sopranos

Thank you!

Count me in again this year! (Domestic, in USA)

I've been slowly adding replicas and a few production used pieces to my sort of Movie Mini Museum / Nautilus themed theater over the last few years. I have things from on display ranging from Star Wars, Ghostbusters, and Jurassic Park to original storyboards from Page Master and a hubcap from Hurricane Heist hanging in the bathroom. I love answering the question: "Why do you have a hubcap on the wall in the bathroom??"

Here are a few things on my wishlist / "someday I'll make":

  • Hand painted painting from Goodfellas
  • The bible and rock pick from Shawshank
  • A proper framed photo (not just desktop photo printer) from The Shining
  • Grail Diary from Indiana Jones
  • Tobin's spirit guide from Ghostbusters
  • Any fake book / magazine from a movie, "A Match Made in Space" from Back to the Future to scatter among my the "real" books
  • Willy Wonka Golden ticket
  • Last Action Hero movie ticket
  • RGB proton pack to go with the ones I built for my son and I
  • Bartlet for America framed napkin from West Wing
  • DL-44 to go next to my HIC from Star Wars
  • Rocketeer helmet and pack (currently working on a 3 year old size one for my son for halloween, and I'm jealous)
  • Matrix Sentinel to loom over the stair
  • Barbasol Can from Jurassic Park
  • The "Jaws" slate from Jaws
This isn't intended as a list to be specifically pick from, but more a sense of my nerdom.

Ah yes, it's that time of year again!!! Excited to be a part of the exchange! The gifts I have received participating in this exchange over the years are some of my favorite pieces in my collection, and for that I am grateful!

Please mark me down as shipping domestic USA.

My interests include:
-Star Wars
-original trilogy
-prequel trilogy

I am in! Based in the U.S. Prefer to ship domestic but international is OK.

I’ve been a collector and maker for 25+ years and my favorites are below. I collect 1:1 props and costumes and own most of the commonly available replicas, but I also enjoy general memorabilia and collectibles. As a maker, one of my favorite things is obscure and less common props that don’t get much attention.

Favorites include:
  • Indiana Jones
  • Back to the Future
  • Henson (Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Muppets)
  • The Goonies
  • Jurassic Park
  • Original Star Wars Trilogy
  • The Big Lebowski (and all Coen Bros)
  • Terry Gilliam movies
  • Willy Wonka
  • City of Ember (guilty pleasure)

Hey everyone!
Would gladly be a part of this again!
My main interests:

Anything Star Wars
Star Trek (all new series after TNG)
Alien(s) (all movies including the Prequels) + Predator
Lord of the Rings
Indiana Jones
The Goonies
Back to the Future
Firefly
Matrix
Game of Thrones
Foundation
Dune (Lynch AND Villeneuve )
Ghostbusters
Riddick
Fallout

I especially enjoy smaller selfmade props you can hold in your hand or display on a shelf. (Not so much a fan of posters or badges. :p)
But of course let your spirits fly! I'll surely have fun with anything you care to send! ;)

Preferably shipping inside continental Europe - but if there's no match I'll also ship internationally.

Let's do this! Can't wait to start tinkering! :D

Count me in for domestic U.K. as usual.

My main interest is Star Wars! You’d be going for a safe bet with that. Primarily OT, Mando, Andor, Ashoka, Rogue One.

Pretty much anything, though I am on the hunt for found prop parts for my cabinet of junk. I also love lightsabers, but anything else prop replica or kit related is good.

Favourite character is Boba Fett! Shamefully I don’t have much by way of Boba Fett props, but I’m making the shin tools, just shy of the Mitchell rods.

Specifically after parts for ANH DL44. Have the mgc and the Reade cylinder but not a lot else.

If that doesn’t take your fancy, I’m also into:

Alien, Bladerunner, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, amongst others.

Actually got back into miniature painting like Star Wars legion, Warhammer etc too.

Have fun all!
