Due to a huge rain storm, this year's 4th of July party did not see many guests.
But there was one person who really enjoyed the site. and was very aware of the movie and the Monolith

Mud everywhere we walked, and the rain just dumped on us.

We had a 70 miles per hour thunder storm last night.
I went out to see how many trees in the yard were down?

I also checked the Monolith, and I was happy to see that we positioned it correctly to face the narrow side into the most common wind direction.
No damage!
