I believe that stemmed from PhantomProphet getting upset because people were interfering with his own sales in the Junkyard.

it was phantom prophet. really, they're either the same guy, or le sells prophet's bad stuff and they both split it. double p should be right next to le on the outbound train.

Gotta agree he contradicts himself in his own post. He says he didn't sell the helmet but rushed to get a replacement to them. That to me seems he admits responsibility and secondly he was stating terms if they were to get refunds they would only get 70%.

Finally the truth is spilling out, I have waited 2 years for this, not he is going down. And I am sorry, I saw the pics and the helmet really is crap, even I can make a better one and its 100% fake. The hinge system I saw on masterle's helmet is way better.

I really do think that we should sue him, Iceman, you have a return address or something? Can you find out where he lives by asking at post office where the package came from? Because once we find his location we can either physically go there or sue him. I mean it.

he has been selling garbage to people for years and yet he has so many fans. I cant post comments on his youtube profile because they require his approoval and its NOT gonna go like:

"Hey look! Someone is trying to reveal that I am a scammer and a cheat, I say aproove the comment and let it be posted on my profile page so nobody would give me their money!"

I'm speechless.

The thing that really pisses me off is not the entire fraud thing, but the damage people like this do to the entire community.
If I only think about all the work other guys as well as myself put in our replicas before EVEN thinking about offering them to peers, I get freaked out.
That's bad for the peers, that's bad for RPF, that's bad for costuming.
I usually don't participate in disputes like this, but it appears clear by now, that there's no conspiracy here.
Ban the guy and let's just forget about him.

This is more worksmanship along the top of the War Machine helmet.
Again...this helmet was over $300.

If you spend 30 secs. looking at his work, you can clearly see that your helmet is no different than his own bucket and suit.

It looks cool from 20' away, but any closer and it's obviously crap, from the sharpie detail, the wonky greebles, to the globs and smears of hot glue everywhere....total crap.

seriously! from the first day he posted here, i wondered why people were singing his praises.

it's a nice effort, but no-where NEAR where this board is.

to date, my only moderator warning on this board since joining in 2003 was flaming him in one of the many, many threads about his garbage.

It's a high impact polyurethane with a super secret paint manufacturer silly man...:lol
