beautiful. i love the overall look. the special effects with cotton / thruster smoke is baller!.
any advice or tutorials on how to set up the cotton effects?(asking for a friend, lol)

Hey, thank you!

Yes I can in short. It was my first time aswell. If you follow the pictures above, you make a framework from chicken wire (or other type w/e you have). Then gently pull the cotton balls apart, mine where kinda rolled into a ball, so I unrolled them and then spread them out, creating a square plane. Then with some woodglue I placed them down on the framework. Pulling it left and right and blending the different cotton patches into each other. Keep building up.

Look up some pictures of what you are trying to simulate, is it taking off, is it a rocket in the air, is it smoke from fire etc.... Try to mimic that smoke ball with your cotton.
When finished, you gently spray (I used black primer can but i recon airbrush is much better) the 'older' smoke darker and blend to white the closer you come to the source.

So whatever comes out of the nozzle Is white and the further away the smoke the darker. This is for the taking off effect tho. For a fire you blend in yellow and red, and much more of the smoke is black.
