cant believe i only just saw this thread. my wifes dad is a bookbinder so i would be super keen to just get the cover and let him make a custom text block to bind into it somehow. could be a fun little project to work on with him i will be keeping an eye on this one now.

No side-by-side, unfortunately, but you can see before-and-after of the cover on the item page: Tobin's Spirit Guide by Magnoli Props

The distressing is mostly in the cover, but also on the page edges. The pages themselves will not be individually aged, just a general browning and speckling on the edges.
