Let me know what you think of the presentation... NOTE These are the older version and should not be confused with Generation 3 that is currently being final detailed.
Outstanding work with the video presentation. I am glad that your a SciFi fan, because with out your tireless work we the fans would have something so outstanding to awe over. Amazing talent you have, and I glad to have watched it unfold from the very early days. Thank you.

I must admit this is one of my favorite threads! :love I love the presentations and can't wait to see the latest version completed. While I love the Mark II and think it's my favorite you did an amazing job it would be a shame not to have the Mark III in all it's glory. Now I just need to convince my wife it's really something we need ... so I have something of value to pass down to my children ... oh wait I have two boys ... I guess I'll need two :love Well I think I can wait for the War Machine armour ... my youngest who's 4 just loves gatling guns.

Great work! While Batman is still my favorite you've made Ironman a very close second ... now if I could come up with the funds to commission this batman idea I've had in my head you'd be the perfect person for the job.

Ok... Now the parts are lose we could get some better meassures for the legs and the midsection armor since these are were the ristrictions are at.

  • Waist is max 38 inches without gap at seamline.
  • Lower leg is 25 inches long
  • The tight is 12 inches from the start of the first seperate plate front on and side on is 19.5 inches including the circle detail at the hip.
  • The max dimention for the (upperleg) thigh diameter is arround 27 inches.

I think these measures are good for the "somewhat" smaller people, with some extensions for the feet this will work out good I expect. Can't wait .... TMP.

p.s Of course we need to make sure the waistline is also in line with the slimmer measure so a little less Mc Donalds ;-) might be in place.

TMP I measured based on your details and my waist belt is about 93cm, legs are about in line as well (assuming some extension), I hope we'll be able to include some of the heel of the boot underneath the armor so actually my upper leg will be higher as well.

Yippie ...

So far so good on this end. Loving the smaller armor immensely. Any ideas on the chest armor sizing ?

UPDATE:

We are sorry to inform that we will be delayed with this project due to the fact that the owner of the property were we got our workshop is moveing and is selling it.

This ressult in delayment since we got to clear and clean out the workshop and move to another. We curently looking for new space but its not easy to find a workspace/ property without industrial fees.

For now we are moveing allot to private location in between, and move over as soon as possible, when we will get new space. We are hoping to find it this next two weeks.

This is most unexpected, but nothing we can do anything about for this moment. On the bright side it allows us to clean the shop.

Re: Iron Man Costume. TMP. New update 29 August 09, Page 113

destroyed?
Hmmm...if I break something on mine then...I'll have to recast or something.

I have a small update:
Somewhere around page 67 of this thread, you can see tons of pics on how I did things.
Of which, I detailed how I wear the shoulder bells/biceps.

Well, the elastic straps have started to wear out after a few troopings.

No biggie, and frankly, the way I did it was kind of a booger for my helper.

So, I cut out the elastic straps. I rivoted in some leftover leather straps from my Vader chestbox.

I have the shoulder bells completely independant now, and semi-permantly attached to the shoulder/chest armor.

This allows my helper to lift up the shoulder bell, slip on the bicep strap and screw on a wingnut.

I'll take pics to better describe when I get a chance.

We got parts to be replace but improved parts. Part similar to Destolate.
The chest is gone. The new chest is about same size with the new shoulderbells it will look entirly different.

TMP sorry about this unexpected change, I hope you find a new workshop area soon and just as the others have proposed if the distance was not a problem I would gladly help you with "space". Good luck and look forward to the next feedback.
