Are any Amazon.de (Germany) buyers actually seeing shipments of their orders? FB members are reporting their U.S. orders getting cancelled and being locked out of Amazon.de.

Kind of wish the backlight for the moire had stayed the same as in Chris's video and in the pictures. It's more of a daylight white and the end product is a warm white. Just my opinion.

The warm white is a change a number of us requested. They didn't have cool white bulbs in the 1960s; if the moire had been backlit it would have been with grain-of-wheat filament bulbs and would have looked more like the production version. Good change in my opinion.

Since the original wasn't back-lit it never crossed my mind of the technology at the time but since it was based in the future I didn't think it would matter that much, each to their own I guess. I suppose it's because I'm more used to and prefer daylight white lol

Apparently they are being distributed to various Amazon warehouses around the country before they put them up for sale and Chris said it was out of their hands.

I saw them available there on Friday. I ordered and it’s coming to the USA on DHL. Says delivery is tomorrow. So they are out of stock, we’re not blocked. You should see them here within a week or two, with more to come! Good luck.

I was going through the “System Test” function and two of the devices in the Tricorder are Hood and Body Accelerometer. What exactly are those used for? While testing them, if you move the tricorder sharply, the X, Y & Z gauges twitch.
