The Amazing Spiderman (Reboot) Costumes and Wardrobe

Does someone know what SM says to the chinese guy after he stopped the bus (at the beginning of the movie) ???
Sth like yama hey ??!!

Jeans are incorrect, he's still wearing the Nike Levis 511's in the medium wash.

Actually, the Made & Crafted tack slim are correct. Check out the first set photos. One can clearly see the leather patch, blue tab and unfished seam on the back pocket stitching (although on the original jeans, the leather patch was a bit darker than the ones in the link). The Levi's 511's have a completely different leather patch, red tab and standard back pocket stitching. Don't know where this idea came from.

Ummm that's a set photo from TASM 1... we're talking about a pair of jeans from TASM 2. His jeans in TASM 2 were photographed during filming and you can clearly see the Nike and Levis logo. I think you're confused.

If there's any confusion, it's because of the mention of the Levi's made & crafted denim -which had been established as the denim in TASM long ago (like 3 years ago) . Since that specific make was mentioned, It seemed that this is what he/she was talking about (and it's not too out there to assume that people are still asking about items from TASM, when the jansport slacker has been on nearly every page of this thread, along with requests for the gray button utility shirt).

The Levi's/Nike denim in TASM2 was identified a long time ago as well. All this back and forth reminds me of when people thought the nike dunks were really navy blue :facepalm

I wouldn't say a long time ago because I was the person who identified the exact make and that's only been a few months. The poster including a filming photo from TASM 2 in his post with the incorrect IDs. It's just a matter of separating multiple topics as you read them.

Don't know which post you're referring to, but this is the one that you replied to and which I referenced:

Its a sweater from Alternative Apparel (Eco True Black) - Alternative Apparel - | Product details - Champ Eco-Fleece Sweatshirt
You could probably get them at a cheaper price from Amazon.

Also during that scene he is wearing Made and Crafted Levi's - Levi's Tack Slim Jeans - Less - Jeans

I don't see any set pics/stills attached.:confused No idea what you're referring to.

During filming in February/March 2013? Almost a year and a half? I'd say that was a fair bit of time ago. I remember seeing that exact set of photos with Garfield and his stunt double when they were released, and immediately saw the unique black/blue nike patch (assumed everyone did) and picked up a few pairs before they sold out...but good job identifying them. :D

Because they're talking about a sweater he wore in TASM 2 that was clearly not in TASM 1? You answered your own question. And congratulations, don't know why you need more than one pair I hope you got use out of them.

I'm no authority on the TASM2 wardrobe and I don't mean to butt into this, but I'm pretty familiar with the TASM1 wardrobe and the nike dunks WERE navy blue. Somewhere in this thread, somebody super saturated a reference photo that I posted and it was clearly blue.

Yep. Midnight Navy to be specific.

Where any of you guys able to find Peter's long sleeve shirt from TASM 2?

Thanks.

EDIT: Oh, Alternative Apparel, I guess?

Clorox bleach. And Rit dyes. That's all! ;) just did another black slacker and tweaked my mix differently this time. I used more royal blue then denim. The results are much better. So 1 while pack of royal and only 1/3 pack of denim. Just FYI if anyone is trying it also.

When you dyed it, did it affect the leather square?

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. Barring the fact that pairing navy blue shoes with black jeans is pretty egregious from a design standpoint (and this costume was well designed), especially for a character that wears a lot of black (same black jeans throughout film)...

I can see where the navy idea comes from- in that the black leather reflects the daylight to give off a slight blue sheen in certain pictures (as black leather is oft to do- especially when compared to the matte black of the denim-which I believe is what throws people off)- But none of the set pics or stills (unflitered) ever show them as being anywhere close to as blue as the actual navy dunks. So the most obvious, literal conclusion is that they are navy blue, but taking the above into account, I think it's pretty clear they're black (or perhaps a very dark gray). But to each their own! Perhaps we'll never truly know. Cheers!
