The Amazing Spiderman (Reboot) Costumes and Wardrobe

Hey TheVigilante,

If you are reading this I need some help... My straps and buckles etc. have arrived and so has my backpack so I am starting to make it. I saw your post on how to make it - that was awesome! Thanks! But the only picture I really needed was missing. It was the one where your bag is holding the skateboard. If you have this picture can you please post it because I am also a skater in highschool like you and the main purpose of this bag is to hold the board. So if you have any pictures of your bag with the straps holding your skateboard that would be a huge help! My board keeps slipping down at the moment :(

Cheers dude!

Hey man here you go! Not the best picture but all i can do at the moment. In order to get the skateboard to stay in place and not slip down, I mad the strap adjusters slightly shorter so that it would tighten to the bag more. A trick you can do is to maybe fill the top half of your bag with a folded shirt or something that will make the top of the bag thicker which will keep it from sliding down.
Also just wanted to show off the Club Monaco look a like from Target that I've been using.

Thanks so much dude! What do you mean by making the strap adjusters shorter? Also if you could get some more angles with the skateboard and also without so I can see what parts of the logo the straps cover and where exactly to sew them on. Also did you go in the bag and sew it to the inside or did you just sew it to the outside? If so whereabouts?

Sorry for being so picky and stuff just want my bag to look good and not break when my board is in it.

By strap adjusters I mean the part of the strap that is connected to the 3 way buckle. By making it shorter, when you pull on the part of the strap to tighten it, you can tighten it more than you normally could. All of the pictures that you're asking for have already been posted.

All good then I will find them! Thanks

But does ANYONE on this thread know the best way to sew the straps on? I'm starting to worry about it. I need it to be very strong as it needs to hold my board and I want it for a long time. Do you go in the bag or sew it to the outside? Whereabouts? I need to know ASAP

Cheers

The way i did it was cut the seams in the bag.when i cut the seams it let me put the straps inside the bag after i placed them i put the area were i cut the bag on top of the straps and sewed it on. You have to sew it from the inside in other words

I know this has been brought up earlier already, but this looks like a good alt.
MOD EDIT: Please do not post ebay links, thanks.
The argument before was that the collar wasn't puffed, but I think some starch might fix that.

I jus bought a jansport slacker in black and bleached it... Got it down to a khaki color. Then I dyed it royal blue and then navy blue and it came out exactly like a blue slacker that I have ! Jus a suggestion to anyone lookin for one and can't find a blue one

What could be the jacket at the graveyard scene where he wears the beanie and sits infront of the tombstone ??
