The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

honestly it don't matter... because if the suit ain't sewn with care it is pointless .if the weblines on every part of the body don't match the suit is ****....they can give you all the bells and whistles ... wrist , crotch and u zip zippers all for dirt cheap means nothing if everything is off..

zentai's material is not anywhere near the quality of fod...

Hey Ken ... you ever think of re designing your pattern where it would be easier to sew it more accurately especially up in the shoulder area etc....

My only mess up was the first pattern the webbing overlapped onto the blue and I didnt notice it in photoshop.
Same for me.. Lil overlap on the forearm parts.. But with puffy paint its not noticeable any more.. But everything lines up pretty good

I'm a little confused on what all this is. Could you kindly explain to me what I'm looking at? It looks great and all, I'm just confused. Do I download the files and print everything out?

You can download the jpegs and send it to a website called fabricondemand. They will print out the jpeg on Lycra and send it to you. Then you can either sew or send the costume to seamstress to get it to be an actual costume rather than just the pattern. The webshooters and face shell are meant to be 3d printed in plastic. You can do that on shapeaways.com or see if your local library has a 3d printer.

Sorry if my answer seems a bit condescending. I'm just not entirely sure what you're asking as all the parts involve a different method of printing

Beat me to it bub.

Im going to use fabric on demand to print this and I was just wondering how many yards I should get? I'm about 5'9. Im new to the RPF thanks:)

should also make 1 or 2 more versions to help people out easier with aheight adjustment like regular one now i believe was for 5'10 to 6'1" make a medium 5'7" to 5'9" etc it would make it easier for a few people... just a suggestion...

on the other 1/2 of yard why not add the second mask or extra crotch area for those who wanna go that route....

That's a GREAT idea!

Anyone have any idea on a good way to resize the print to someone who's about 5'7 - 5'8?
Ken's current file is meant for someone a few inches taller. But when I try to follow the resizing method in the image provided, 28" is about what the length already is from the middle of the face to the bottom of belt area.
I wonder if that means as someone who's 5'7, I can order the suit as it already is.

Any ideas on what I can do?

Let's let Photoshop do the work...
re-size.jpg
Create a new file... I figure since 72" aka (6') is the ideal size, I will start there. You can make the file 72 inches, 72 cm, 72 pixels, whatever you want, as long as its 72 units.
Now go to: Image>image size. Make sure the units are set to whatever you started with (inches, cm etc) and now change the 72 to whatever you want the NEW height to be. I did 67 aka (5' 7").... as you can see the percentage at the top changes. That would be the percentage I would reduce the pattern file by... in this case 93.05%

enjoy!

From my experience, my print resulted too much small! I got the reference from this picture, all went wrong... I scaled mine to 86 inch...
Resulted is a print for my girlfriend...
I'm 5.7 and now i will print the file as it is, hope will be good.
