The Amazing Spider-man 2 - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

Ah I see, yes you're right. At least they give Ken credit but I feel like if they do this he should get at least a LITTLE percentage of what they make off of the suits
I completely agree with you. But as kenlandrum stated...

NOTE:If you decide to take the pattern, call it your own, alter it to a newer outfit, post it on eBay, whatever, do as you please.
I just hope that it mainly gets into the hands of the folks on this board!

So its entirely his choice if he wants to pursue any compensation for something such as this

Yes I wholeheartedly see what you're saying and I think that it's more than incredibly generous for Ken to give out his hard work for free no matter what people do. All there's left to say is a huge thanks to ken.

Hi my name is wayne firstly I would like to thank Ken for his amazing work.
I am not a new member but I haven't posted really due to having some bad times in the last year or so.
Now I am able to come back here and start a tasm suit and I can't wait but i need some help please.
I have downloaded the cmky jpeg file from page one of the thread but I was wondering about the size I have photoshop but I don't know how to resize for myself.
Do I even need to resize this I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and I weigh 147lbs some guidance from you folk would be immensely appreciated.
I don't want to have the print done to find it's too lose and baggy thank you :)

Guys I think a few weeks ago when I first saw them sell the suit I consulted ken and i posted it on the thread, ken said it's free so it can't be stolen and he's completely cool with it. Also, he said it would be fine even if I wanted to go to zentai zentai and do that even though I said to him the worse company out there apart from PayPal has you pattern

That's right! It's FREE FREE. Don't worry about who's making cash off of it... just enjoy it for yourselves. That's why it's there.

So I am not the smartest guy in the world when it comes to this stuff but next con coming up I would like to be Miles Morales Spider Man. What program did you guys use to build that suit up? I see the ways to do everything else but making a convincing suit is the hard part. So is there a tutorial on how to make a suit in general or is it all just a template for Amazing Spider Man?

To be honest I don't like the front spider of the new version of this file, it looks so fake, with these long front legs and they are touching the wrong webs. I think the spider of the last version was better even though it didn't line up that well with the webs (maybe make the legs a bit thinner and shorter to line up better)
But best solution would be to redo the webs so they are more movie accurate, it's up to you Ken. It's you skills and time you are investing.

I also don't think the color is right, before it was too dark and now it's too bright. I think something between the dark red of the old version and this version should be appropriate.
I think Jeck has found a good color.

maybe 2 to 3% darker than the color jeck used wouldn't harm.

Yeah I see that....I just hit him up for a quote. Just have to make sure it will fit somebody like myself properly.

zentai zentai's material is not thick enough for a good print when worn it fades big time ... so it is not really worth it if you want good deep color when worn....top.jpgbottom.jpg

I am wondering if there is someone printing shiny spandex.
Or maybe there is something that can be sprayed on the spandex to make it shiny like the movie suit.
