That looks really good! I'd suggest maybe adding a few darker washes and drybrushed highlights to make the colours look less cartoony and pull everything together.

I dont think | would be able to do washes as the paint has latex mixed into it to keep it flexable so I dont know if I could water it down with the latex in the paint? Or can you?:confused

My painting skills arnt very good and most things end up comming out cartoony.:wacko Pluss I dont have an airbrush so just hand painted.:rolleyes

Sounds a silly question but whats a drybrushed highlight?

You really don't need an airbrush to get good results - I don't have one and just use paintbrushes to do all my lifesize busts.

Now sure on the watering down if it's got latex in it to be honest. Though if you water down the paint enough to use it for a wash, I wouldn't think you'd need latex in it anyway.

Drybrushing is when you put a small amount of paint on your brush (normally a lighter version of the colour you're painting onto), then wipe most of it off onto newspaper or a rag. Then using using the paintbrush, which is now "dry", you swipe/paint it over the sculpt and the paint only adheres to the raised areas and don't go into the dips, etc.

oh ok.:)

id love to make him look much more life like but as im a complete novice when it comes to painting skills. Ive never been anygood at it. making things sculpting et not to bad but the painting stuff is what Im no good at. I wish there was some one local who paint up model monsters etc who could show me and put me in the right direction. I think if I could be shown how to do it and make it look better id give it a go. lol

Well I have almost finished my flasher gremlin. I desided the one I made was to become the flasher. lol.

ive made his coat and Cigeratte and borrowed a pair of shades till his arrive in the post but im quite happy with him.

I did a slight going over on the paint and added a bit of shading to the skin to make it a little more toned rather than just the plain greeny brown so on a closer inspection it looks two toned now.:)

here are some pics:
