I’m finally catching up on this thread, and what incredible workmanship
I've never ordered from ELS but considering it in the future.Just got the Riker-style jacket and it sadly doesn't fit me - despite checking my measurements. I would consider sizing up for anyone interested in one of these. It's a beautifully made jacket otherwise. Really bummed about my purchase though.
Leather jackets should typically be sized down anyway since they stretch but how off was yours?
I followed their measuring guides and seemed to fit a Medium. Unfortunately the jacket I got fits me like a Small. Arms holes are too high, and I can't close it up. Very frustrating that ELS won't accept exchanges - especially since it wasn't a custom order. Trying / hoping I can sell this one in the Junkyard. It really is nicely made otherwise. Particularly love the shoulder detailing. If you're curious I can share photos, let me know.
I like my jackets to fit tighter than most but based on many jackets I've previously owned I think an XS is what I'm looking for.

I placed my order, and it fits perfectly. I had communicated with Jameel a bit beforehand, sending measurements, and he was very responsive. At first glance, I thought the measurements he sent back to me may be too large, but I'm glad it turned out exactly as I had hoped. I put the jacket on before I even got back in the house from the mailbox!
My biggest question is finding good Neodymium magnets to keep the fansets com badge and Space Dots pips in place. The lambskin leather is thick enough that standard magnets aren't cutting it.

We are doing replicas jackets as tailor made shop, and always send an email to confirm jacket / coat size before start working on their orders.
We also send them our size chart, and ask them compare with their body measurements.
As well I personally assist to our customers, who wants to get made a custom order.

Sure thing, my order number was 16098. The size chart seemed to match a medium in my case. I'm 5'11', usually wear a size 42 jacket. But alas the jacket I got is too small on me. Looks like I should've ordered a large instead.
It really is a lovely jacket though! Beautifully made. Just wish I could wear it.
Would recommend to anyone interested to please consider sizing up, or better yet send all your measurements ahead of time. Don't make my mistake!

So I bought this jacket in the junkyard. I am a medium and my sizing is smaller than Chronos. As someone with clothing construction experience and a bachelors degree in Textile and Apparel Management, I can tell you without a doubt that this was not a measurement issue, the construction of this jacket is entirely jacked up. There is no way anyone size medium, small or even extra small are getting their arms to fit with those shoulders. This jacket should never have been shipped.

Jameel Ur, I understand you are offering Chronos a replacement at half cost. I can tell you without a doubt you have done him wrong. You need to replace his jacket free of cost. This jacket is poorly made, it might be one off when it comes to your regular quality. But this isn’t just small it is not going to fit any adult of a small or small size. You can tell the bodice of the jacket was cut too small for the sleeves the way they had to pleat the sleeves to make them fit. If you don’t replace his jacket for free, I can’t recommend anyone doing further business with you. Bad measurements by a customer is one thing, but poor construction is on you.
Thanks for saying so. At least someone who knows better can confirm that the sizing is off. I was going to take their offer to have a custom made at half-price, but not now. Feeling burned by the whole thing.

I can’t image who could possibly fit in this jacket. I’m not sure a 5’0” girl that wear a size 0 dress could get her arms into this armholes. Maybe the Diary of Wimpy Kid stick figure guy…. Yep, the construction of this jacket is that bad.
