Spider-Man: No Way Home

I'll attempt it.

The action is amazing, per usual. The mirror world sequence is a real stand out as well.

Each of the villains gets an arc. Not necessarily an Homeric epic of an arc, but it's there. Bring your nostalgia for the old spider franchises.

Holland and Zendaya really nail awkward teenage romance, and Holland is getting really good at looking like he's carrying the burden that Spider-Man gives himself.

It's long, especially for a spider movie, but it really zips along. There's just a lot of it. That might be my only complaint, honestly.

Hi!
Is the black/gold suit the normal paint splattered suit "inside out" or he just Peter removed the upper layer and we just se the electronics underlayer?

I saw this last night, wanted to see it in a packed house because I always regretted not seeing End Game like that. When Andrew and Toby came in, gave me goosebumps. My favorite part was seeing Charlie Cox as his lawyer. but I so wanted to see him again as DareDevil and to join the fight. Seeing Willem Defoe again was awesome, he did a great job. So didn't Alfred Molina. The whole thing was fun, and seeing 3 spidey's swinging together, just awesome.

Spoiler question on mid-credits scene:

I haven't seen Venom 2 yet, so maybe I am missing some context, but why would Strange's spell have pulled in Eddie Brock from his universe, which, to my understanding, doesn't have a Spider-Man?

Did I miss something, or were we supposed to connect the dots that Spider-Man would eventually appear in Eddie's universe, and future-Eddie would learn at some point that that Spider-Man is Peter Parker?

Just got back from seeing it. Absolutely loved it! It has everything you've come to expect from a Marvel movie: great action, humor, and heart. Some really beautiful moments along side the scenes that got people really cheering. I think this may have just knocked Endgame into the #2 spot in my list of favorite Marvel movies.

Man, I'm so tempted to read the spoilers. It could be a long while before I get to see this. I still haven't seen the last one.

It seems to be a minor contrivance that doesn't make sense as things are explained in the film.

I really liked this one a lot. I think it's the best SM movie since Raimi's SM2.

I tried to avoid all trailers, news articles, rumors, etc., so some things came as big surprises to me:

1.) The Matt Murdock cameo. Caught me flat-footed, and I loved it. So happy they folded Charlie Cox into the MCU, and can only hope this isn't a "one-and-done".

2.) It was hard not to hear about Doc Ock, GG and Electro, but I had no idea they were also bringing back The Lizard and The Sandman, much less getting Rhys Ifans and Thomas Haden Church to reprise their roles.

3.) Despite all of Garfield's denials (lies), I was expecting him to re-appear, but I didn't know about Maguire. Another great surprise.

This movie also reminded me of how much I liked Garfield in the role. I really enjoyed the little meta moment when he was talking about how he wasn't anything special compared to Maguire and Holland's Peter Parkers (reflecting how the Garfield films are usually ranked below the first two Maguire films and the Holland films), and Maguire giving him the little pep talk. And then Garfield gives the same pep talk to Max about not being a "nobody."

Finally, the moment that probably gave me the most feels out of the whole film - when Garfield saved MJ in pretty much the exact same scenario he failed to save Gwen, and how he was on the brink of bursting into tears when he asked MJ if she was OK. A surprisingly powerful moment.

Again, really liked this one. Definitely the best Holland film.

WOW- I said the exact same thing as your last sentence (except I said endgame and winter soldier-) to my youngest son at the credit drop. He agreed. I don’t think my mind will change on subsequent viewings .
