Show your Dr. Who props!

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

This just came on the 9th (2 months after ordering it. Stupid Canada Post. I will say Nick was awesome in trying to locate the package)

I also got the TARDIS type 40 plaque.

Feel free to ask me any questions about them.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

I am in the process of reworking my Doctor Who Displays and had to order more stands for my Sonics. I am now at 35 sonics and cannot see the end.....I think I have an issue......

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

My Amy Pond glasses finally came in, from a little antique store in the UK, actually. So that made me finish my Melody Malone vector book cover.

And the Angel head is the mask from Hot Topic mall store painted with faux concrete paint.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Boba trek - that frame set looks beautiful. The newspaper prints are great and the concrete paint on the angel is really effective. If you hadn't have revealed your method I'd have really been scratching my head!

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Thanks - the printed pics are from someone here, but I don't remember who. And I'm really happy on how the angel turned out. It was worth using the whole can for it. I'll be touching up the border of it soon, if I don't already have the above photo updated.

Not a bought prop, but figured I'd share it anyway :) Made it easily attachable/detachable for my fiancee's Donna Noble cosplay.

I recently purchased these off eBay for £10 and £6. They are apparently originals from the batch of prop bank notes printed for "The Runaway Bride". They are commercially printed on shiny paper and double sided. I assume they are originals based on the quality of printing and finishing.

Here's mine, I'd recommend finding a note case for them, I think the ones I found were like $7 a pop.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

For those who could be interested in,there are 3 pair of layer boots on ebay.
These are the Matt smith season 5 boots.

-one ending in about 2 hours, size 10 UK
-another size 7
-a last size 11

Very rare to see these shoes, especially 3 times the same day!

I was very lucky to find mines, but if some guys here are looking for a pair of layer, maybe it can help

It's hard to tell. 95% of the ones ever sold on Ebay have been scans or copies of the originals and pretty much the same quality. There are so many people reproducing them now that it's impossible to tell unless I see them in the flesh. The screen used originals are certainly not printed on shiny paper though.

I paid £16 for the pair. A fair price for good quality replicas (they appear to be professionally printed, not printed on a domestic laser printer). But if they are genuine, then still a fair price. And it was a charity auction, so even better.

Re: Show your Dr. Who props!

Time for a Sonic Family Photo!!!!

There are a few new additions, but one that is a bit special to me now, is the little blue one in the front row. Thanks, Straker
